These past few weeks have been busy, cleaning the house from top to bottom, and hosting a birthday party. I've also been listening to the audio book of "Do Hard Things", and last night my family and I (all the ones old enough to handle it) watched "October Baby".

Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low ExpectationsDVD

"Do Hard Things" is a nonfiction book written by homeschooled twin brothers. They started a movement "a teenage rebellion against low expectations". I have the audio book and listen to it at night in the bed; it's an amazing book and it has really changed my way of thinking.

"October Baby" is a sad movie. I don't want to give too much away, but the 19 year old girl finds out that she was adopted. It tells of her story to find answers, while having a little love story in the mix. It was an awesome movie, but it is sad. I never cry during movies, but this one did the trick.

I'll post pictures soon of Squirt's party.
